If your dog has never had a raw bone before, boy are they in for a real treat! Recreational bones are an excellent way for dogs to exercise their jaws, massage their gums and clean their teeth while consuming amino acids and essential fatty acids that promote good health.
Knuckle bones consist of joint tissue, meat and bone. They are softer than marrow bones, which are weight bearing bones (typically from the femur). They allow dogs to scrape their teeth into the bone, which helps to clean food and tartar from their teeth. The meat tissue that is typically left on the bones encourages nibbling and pulling with the front teeth.
- Sourced & made in the USA
- Sourced from grass-fed beef
- Antibiotic and hormone-free
- Excellent source of calcium, phosphorus, and healthy fats
- Provides great mental stimulation for dogs
When your dog chews on a raw recreational bone, especially a meaty one with soft tissue still attached, his teeth get the equivalent of a good brushing and flossing. This helps to break down tartar and reduces the risk of gum disease.
Recreational bones are NOT to be completely consumed and should always be fed under your supervision.
