The American Lead is one of the most innovative leashes on the market due to its unique sliding handle. The handle of the American Lead allows the user to expand the opening from a normal (8”) diameter all the way to a 30” diameter. The ability to expand the handle gives the American Lead multiple uses. You can open it up and place it around your waist for hands free walking, hiking or running. Carry it over one should for off-lead excursions, or double it back and place the handle over the dog’s head to create a short traffic lead when needed.
